 Dead River releases are always considered a special event here at Three Rivers Whitewater and are only run at certain times throughout the season. This 16-mile stretch of rapids get bigger and better as the day goes on and provides the most continuous whitewater the northeast has to offer. Our staff of Registered Maine Guides pride themselves on their knowledge of the many rapids and playspots on the river.
This Dead River Maine rafting trip includes a hearty river meal as well as a slide and video presentation. Minimum Age: 12 years old. Please arrive no later than 8:30 for all trips.

Family Rafting Trip or Aggressive Inflatable Kayak Trip
The Dead River runs throughout the summer at lower water flows called recreational releases. Using smaller boats and inflatable kayaks these releases offer a technical run with endless plays pots - combining a day of intermediate rafting with aggressive inflatable kayak paddling.
This whitewater rafting trip also includes a complete homemade meal and a slide and video presentation.

Wetsuits
We have a collection of the finest suits available; they are designed to be attractive, comfortable and functional to enhance all of your river experiences. Wetsuits are typically needed only during the Spring Rafting Season.
Wetsuit rentals are always available on any of our river trips. Three Rivers holds the right to require our guests to wear wetsuits on the Dead River should conditions apply. Rentals are $15.00 per day. If you have your own wetsuit, you're welcome to bring it along.
