Penobscot River Rafting - Two Day Rafting Trip

Two Days of Class V Action and a Night of Remote Camping Beside The Penobscot River

You'll get a leisurely start at our Penobscot Outpost where you will have a hearty breakfast, pack your gear, and head for the river. Your trip will begin at McKay Station in Ripogenous Gorge, where you will challenge the upper Penobscot, paddling hard to successfully navigate Exterminator, The Staircase, Crib Works and Big A. This two day adventure gives you and your guides ample time to surf all the best holes, and to stop and enjoy all the sites. Snacks and drinks are always provided to make sure you are comfortable and have the energy to take on the rapids.

After this day of excitement, you will settle into your campsite at Salmon point, where you will be enjoying one of the most pristine and beautiful places the northeast has to offer. Mt. Katahdin will be in full view as you relax by the fire as your guides prepare an authentic outdoor barbecue to fill you up and tantalize the taste buds of any paddler.

After a restful night's sleep by the rivers edge, you will awake to camp coffee and another hearty breakfast, pack up camp, and head on down the river for some more class V action. You will enjoy another riverside lunch and return to the Penobscot Outpost. This is not just any trip, it is experience that you will never forget!

We provide:

• Tents, Sleeping Pads, All food & snacks, drinks & full meals, river gear, shuttle to and from all destinations, dry bags for your personal gear.

You need to bring:

• Sleeping bag, warm clothing, sturdy footwear and your unique sense of adventure and fun!!

• Minimum of 6 - If you have less than 6 in your group we would be happy to schedule you with another group.
