Maine Adventure Marketing Internship
Adventure COOP Internship Program
In 2007, Adventure COOP, LLC, a marketing collective consisting of Three Rivers Whitewater Rafting and Skydive New England consolidated their concepts to execute a campaign strategy that was new and unique to the region. This was aimed to promote the adventure industry as a whole in New England. Very simply, the two companies realized the potential of combining their customer base and marketing budgets into one solidified concept. This allowed them to purchase an additional location and give legs to another unique concept. Jump and Raft! The only combined Skydiving and Whitewater Rafting Resort in The United States of America. Since the success of this merger, Adventure Coop's marketing plans and procedures have created a curriculum of open-ended opportunities. There is no end to the avenues we can pursue with this concept.
Adventure COOP is looking for College Interns who are willing to further advance their skills in Marketing, Branding, Networking and Trade Association. Today's marketing theatre is highly aggressive and constantly changing to adapt itself to potential consumers. Adventure COOP offers a curriculum that helps the right person obtain valuable skills to compete in this ever-changing genre.
All Interns will receive an allotted amount of complimentary Skydive and Rafting experiences to familiarize them with our exciting industry. Mandatory Fun as we like to call it. This will give you first hand knowledge of our product which is vital in conveying our concept.
The program will run 14 weeks during the summer. This is the height of our season.
"The internship at Adventure Coop is a fun and exciting experience. You learn many things about marketing and promotions while learning about yourself at the same time. This internship is not for the shy as it is imperative that you are able to talk to anyone and everyone. You will be calling COOP networking contacts to set up potential promotions, hand out coupons to people, set up Group Adventure Trips with businesses and run promotions on site. Jason Fogg is a good mentor who knows a lot about marketing and brings lots of creativity to the field which keeps it Fun. I would recommend this internship to any hardworking and outgoing individuals who really have a drive to learn more about marketing and what it takes to be successful in the field."
