He did a great job of explaining things to us, and especially for me, did a great job of helping me get over my fear of rafting. Stacy was awesome as well. "I wanted to thank you for a great visit, a bunch of fun, great hospitality, beer and food, and service. I stayed four nights in all to skydive, raft, and hike Katahdin. Scott jumped tandem with me and made me feel secure the whole way. Scared of heights, I thought I’d wimp out. Turns out I had a blast the whole way. Captain Ryan Adams manned a heavy 9-person raft down the Penobscot with great skill and fun. Pam connected me with an experienced hiker who was also interested in hiking Katahdin. We had the best hike of our lives with beautiful weather along the Knife’s Edge. She also gave me a mattress when mine popped and warm blankets when the cold nights reached 30 degrees. I would not have been there for so many days if it weren’t for your decent, decent, competent, friendly people. Thanks."

"Had a great time rafting the Penobscot with Tony and the crew on Monday! Twenty years of rafting and I get swept out of the raft not once, but three times on the same trip! I never let go of my paddle either!!! I should charge Tony for the paddle. Never been swept out before. That's what I get for bringing my kid!"

"I just got over with the hangover from the most serious fun I had with you guys (Dead river rafting May 12, 2007).
