The South Branch of the Penobscot / Canada Falls Section is Maine's most challenging and exciting river. Canada Falls is steep, narrow, technical, and unforgiving. Saturday releases are scheduled on three special dates in July and August. If you have done all the other rivers, want the ultimate challenge, or like technical rafting, let us show you what we think is the most challenging river in Maine. There are four Class V rapids in a four mile section that will keep your blood pumping. We run this section twice for maximum adrenaline. The South Branch of the Penobscot River, Canada Falls Section is released from Canada Falls Lake and we have trips on scheduled on 3 major releases in 2010. This river has a rapid around every turn, along with beautiful scenery. Rafting Canada Falls is a must do for any whitewater junkie. Our best guides are ready, willing and able to show you a fantastic day of Class V Rafting on what is the most difficult section of river we run.

Our most dynamic and exciting combination river trips offers you rafting and inflatable kayaking on two great remote rivers that will challenge guide and guest alike. One day rafting the class V chute drop section of the North Branch of the Penobscot known as Canada Falls our most challenging rafting trip. A fun filled night of remote riverside camping with meals and equipment provided. The second day of this adventure is paddling an inflatable kayak on the Seboomook section of the Penobscot. The Seboomook is well known for its endless play spots, surf wholes and chutes that can be run over and over to excite and tire any paddler. This true Maine wilderness experience is second to none and is our guide's favorite trip due to its fun, exciting, aggressive and remote nature.
